How to Play Queens Vector

Getting Started

When you first play, you’ll enter a thrilling space drop. Here’s how to navigate:

  • Move Forward: Press W.

  • Control Flight Path: Use the mouse.

After navigating through the debris field, you’ll land on the surface of the Distant Gamble.

Controls

  • WASD: Move

  • Shift: Dash

  • Spacebar: Jump

  • Double Spacebar: Double Jump

  • T: Perform an instant kill when close to an enemy’s back.

Playable Classes and Abilities

In “Quantum Winter: Queens Vector,” you can choose between two distinct playable classes, each equipped with three unique abilities. Understanding and mastering these abilities is crucial for surviving the hostile environments you’ll encounter.

What is a Class?

A class defines your character’s role and skill set in the game. Each class comes with its own set of abilities that cater to different playstyles, allowing you to tailor your approach to various challenges.

What is an Ability?

An ability is a special skill or power that your character can use to gain an advantage in combat or exploration. Abilities can range from offensive attacks to defensive maneuvers and utility skills.

Ability Sets

Ability Sets in “Quantum Winter: Queens Vector” are predefined groups of special skills or powers that your character can use during gameplay. Each set is designed to cater to a specific playstyle, allowing you to choose how you want to approach different challenges in the game.

  • Stealth Ability Set: Focuses on avoiding detection and strategic positioning. Ideal for players who prefer a more covert and tactical approach.

  • Assault Ability Set: Emphasizes all-out combat and offensive capabilities. Perfect for players who enjoy direct confrontation and dealing heavy damage.

By selecting an ability set, you can tailor your character’s skills to match your preferred style of play, whether it’s sneaking past enemies or engaging them head-on.

Stealth Ability Set (Access by pressing / on the Numpad)

  • F - Quantum Cloak: Become invisible to avoid detection by enemies.

  • MMB (Middle Mouse Button) - Quantum Teleport Cloak: Instantly teleport to a nearby location, allowing for quick escapes or strategic positioning.

  • V - Vampiric (Ethereal) Rounds: Heal for 50% of the enemy’s health when you kill with a headshot, providing a significant boost to your survivability.

Assault Ability Set (Access by pressing * on the Numpad)

  • F - Quantum Bubble Shield: Release a burst of energy that disorients enemies within the bubble and provides protection for 60-120 seconds.

  • Q - Grenade: Press G to throw a grenade with a 90m radius, dealing 125 damage to enemies within the blast zone.

  • V - Assault Rounds: Deal 50% more damage to enemy shields, making it easier to break through their defenses.

You will need to reselect your ability set each time you respawn after death.

Weapon Acquisition and Management

Acquiring New Weapons

  • You can acquire new weapons by defeating bosses or finding them hidden throughout the world.

  • Keep in mind, you can only carry up to 3 weapons at a time. If you’re already holding 3 weapons, picking up a new one will replace your active weapon.

  • When a new weapon is available, it will appear as a purple cube. Strategize and choose your loadout carefully as you explore and upgrade your arsenal!

Loot and Resources

Defeating Enemies

  • Defeating enemies has a chance to drop loot, including health and ammo.

Ammo

  • Ammo is marked by a white cube. Keep an eye out for these valuable resources to stay in the fight!

Health

  • Health is marked by a green cube. Collect these to maintain your health and continue your journey.
